Afterpay Pay in 4
Afterpay allows eligible customers to divide their purchase into four interest-free instalments, generally paid every two weeks.
The first payment is made at the time of purchase, with the remaining payments scheduled automatically.
There is no interest with Pay in 4, although late fees may apply if repayments are missed.
Afterpay Pay Monthly
For larger purchases, eligible customers may also have access to Afterpay Pay Monthly.
This option offers monthly repayments over 6, 12 or 24 months for eligible purchases of $500 or more.
Unlike Pay in 4, Pay Monthly generally includes interest, currently at a standard rate of 19.99% p.a., unless a promotional rate applies.
Customers must apply separately through the Afterpay app and undergo a credit assessment. If approved, Pay Monthly may appear as an option in the Afterpay checkout for eligible purchases.
